Building the Sandcastles of Life: A Therapists & Teachers Guide to Psychological Wellbeing for the Inner Child. (Volume 2)
As therapists and teachers we know that no influence operates in isolation, that each dimension whether biological, psychological, spiritual or ecological all have influence over a person’s development. Like a microcosm each of these realms guide our clients in a direction, towards poor health or with a well-trained therapist or teacher as a guide, towards good healthy psychological wellbeing. Clients experience and way of being are intricately woven together in a complex variety of ways to create a psychological mapping of healthy body, mind and soul. Sandplay therapy can be used as an integral part to this microcosm of influences to guide your clients through aspects of personal development and self-growth.
We came to see Fiona because she was highly recommended, and we are so glad we did.
What I noticed first was she did not allow us to descend into ‘he said/she said’ stuff, but picked up on what was strong between us underneath.
It’s what we needed but had been overshadowed by other things which unbalanced all the good in our lives.
It was an approach which immediately helped us and taught us how profound it is to forgive and move on to the good stuff!
Having a child with ASD can feel terrifying and inspiring all at once but as I watch Fiona work with Eli I can see his ability to communicate and express himself growing in leaps and bounds which leaves us excited about what the future holds.
We are grateful for the amazing work that Fiona is providing to the community and our family.
